The Auxiliary Twin Screw (Moxon) Vise allows for versatile work-holding options. It is ideal for use when cutting dovetail joinery on wide boards or panels. This vise can be placed anywhere on the workbench and is held in place with holdfasts or clamps.
Available in three clamping capacity sizes sizes: 12" between screws, 24" between screws, and 36" between screws.
Available in four vise jaw heights: 5-1/4", 7-1/4", 9-1/4", and 11-1/4".
Available in either steel or wooden screw construction with 4-1/2" clamping capacity between the vise jaws.
The steel screws are 1/2"-13 threads.
The lumber is Southern Yellow Pine due to its light strength-to-weight ratio. Other lumber may be substituted at increased cost for customization.
